How to Bridge ETH to Robinhood Chain (Measured)

There is no faucet for Robinhood Chain mainnet, so the only way to fund a wallet is to bridge ETH from a chain you already hold it on. We ran the transfer from Arbitrum and timed every part of it — deposit to credited balance in about two seconds, with a cost you can see below to the wei.

  2. Open a bridge, pick your source chain, and set Robinhood Chain as the destination.

How bridging works, briefly

A bridge does not physically move your ETH between chains — it locks or takes your ETH on the source chain and releases an equivalent amount to your address on the destination. Modern bridge aggregators route through whichever underlying path is cheapest and fastest at the moment you quote, which is why the exact amount received varies slightly from quote to quote.

  • The amount received is always a little less than sent. The difference is the route’s cost plus any aggregator fee, shown in the quote before you sign.
  • Speed depends on the route, not just the chains. Our Arbitrum transfer settled in about two seconds; other routes and larger amounts can take longer.
  • Your destination address is the same as your source address. The same wallet holds an independent balance on each chain.

Staying safe

Bridging is one of the higher-risk actions in crypto, mostly because it is a common target for phishing. A few rules that cost nothing:

  • Confirm the destination chain ID reads 4663 before you sign.
  • Check the amount you will receive in the quote, not just the amount you send.
  • Never enter a seed phrase or private key to “complete” a bridge. No legitimate bridge asks for one.
  • Start with a small test amount the first time you use any bridge route.
